RAS MIDAS Hospitality Rider

Dressing Room:

·        Clean dressing room, adequately spacious with seating for eight, heated or air-conditioned, with private bathroom, secure from audience or staff, labeled with Artist’s name

• Hand towel for each person
• Full-length mirror on wall
• Ample bottled spring water in individual bottles, chilled
• Juice, preferably fresh-squeezed, chilled
• Hot water and assortment of teas, black, green and herbal
• 6-pack of bottled Guinness stout (if alcohol is allowed)
• 12-pack of chilled bottled Heineken or premium microbrewed lager beer (if allowed)
• Platter of assorted fresh fruits and nuts

Dining area near dressing rooms (or inside dressing room if large enough)

Hot meal after sound check with tables and seating for each member of act:

• Main course of fresh fish or chicken
• Salad course
• Fresh cooked vegetable course
• Potato or rice course
• Bread & butter
• Dessert
• Hot and/or iced tea, sparkling water, soft drinks

Artist’s specific dietary needs:

·        Ras Midas requires access to and use of a stove, hot plate or microwave since he carries and cooks with his own food and utensils.

·        2 vegans require:

• no dairy throughout meal
• vegetable dish main course with protein source such as tofu

Purchaser may, with Artist’s permission, opt for a “buy-out” of $12.00 per member in lieu of providing hot meals.

Onstage:

·        Bottled spring water, unchilled, 2 bottles per member of act

·        Hand towel for each person

·        Hot tea with honey and lemon for lead singer

Lodging

Purchaser shall furnish four (4) double rooms for the night of the performance at a Holiday Inn or equivalent hotel reasonably near to venue. Purchaser shall pre-pay for rooms and provide Artist with confirmation numbers and contact, address, phone number and directions upon the return of this contract.  Purchaser shall provide, at no cost to Artist, parking at the hotel for Artist’s vehicle. 

Transportation

Purchaser shall provide, at no cost to Artist, parking space for Artist’s vehicle near stage door of venue for load-in, the duration of the show, and load-out.  Artist’s vehicle consists of a 15-passenger van with trailer, approximately 30 feet in length.  Artist may require Purchaser to provide local transportation and driver prior to performance to fulfill media requests and interviews to promote show.
